In today's rapidly evolving academic landscape, maintaining the integrity and quality of academic publication is more crucial than ever. The DTS Journal of Arts and Humanities adheres to a comprehensive set of policies and ethical guidelines designed to foster transparency, accountability, and respect for intellectual contributions from all scholars globally.
Scope of the Journal
The DTS Journal of Arts and Humanities publishes original research articles, reviews, conference proceedings, and Project/Thesis/Dissertation in English, Literature, French, Linguistics, History, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Music, International Studies and Theatre Arts, Sociology, International Relations and other related disciplines. The aim is to provide a platform for the dissemination of significant advancements, innovative approaches, and research findings that contribute meaningfully to the field.
Article Submission Guidelines
To ensure a fair and efficient review process, authors must adhere to the submission guidelines outlined on the DTS Journal website. Submissions should be original works that have not been published elsewhere or submitted concurrently to another journal. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their data, the integrity of their findings, and the originality of their contributions. However, other publication guidelines are as follows:
- Written articles should be in Microsoft Word using 14 font size ( Times New Roman)
- The paper should be typed in double-line-spacing and should not exceed 18 pages on A 4-size paper.
- Page one should contain the title of the article and a running head of not more than 40 characters, including space and a short abstract of 140 to 170 words.
- Contributors are advised to present the manuscript in line with any of the following styles of referencing, namely, 7th Edition of American Psychological Association (APA) or Modern Languages Association (MLA)
- DJAH publishes articles based on the number of papers submitted. Sometimes articles can be published when the need arises.

Article Publication And Processing Fees
The publication fess are as follows:
Article Publication fee is ₦20,000 for a single author, while for more than two authors is ₦25,000. Online Publication of PhD Dissertation is ₦45,000), (Postmaster Diploma Research Work is ₦40,000), (Master Research Work is ₦35,000), (Postgraduate Diploma Research Work is ₦30,000), (Bachelor Research Work is ₦25,000), while (Diploma Research Work is ₦20,000). Payment is made after an article has been accepted for publication.
Ethical Considerations
The DJAH prioritizes ethical standards in all aspects of publication. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1. Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is free from any form of plagiarism. Proper citations and attributions should be made for any work or ideas that are not the author’s own.
2. Data Fabrication and Falsification: Any manipulation, misrepresentation, or fabrication of data is strictly prohibited. The credibility of research findings relies on their fidelity to actual data.
3. Authorship: Only individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research should be listed as authors. All authors should agree on the final version of the manuscript and consent to its submission.
4. Human and Animal Rights: Research involving human participants or animals must comply with ethical standards, including informed consent and humane treatment.
Post-Publication Ethics
Once published, authors should remain vigilant regarding the integrity of their work. If errors, inaccuracies, or ethical concerns arise after publication, authors are encouraged to promptly report these issues to the editorial team. The DJAH is committed to addressing concerns transparently and may issue corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern as necessary.
