About the Journal
AHABA Journal of Creative Arts is a biannual academic journal published by the Department of Creative Arts, Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. AHABA-JOCA publishes original research in all areas of Humanities and Social Sciences. AHABA-JOCA is a double blind Peer-Reviewed journal. The journal applies the highest standards to everything it does and adopts APA and MLA citation/referencing style. Submitted article should not exceed 5000 words with an abstract of 200-250 words with 5 key words. Authors should include their names, ORCID, Email address and institution affiliation on the first page of the paper. All manuscripts must be sent by email to: creativearts@dou.edu.ng.

Publication Frequency
AHABA-JOCA is published biannually. Accepted papers are published after peer-reviewing process is completed. The volumes are released in the months of June and December.
Editorial Policies
AHABA-JOCA publishes original research in English languages and in all areas of Humanities and Social Sciences. AHABA-JOCA is a semi-annual journal published by the Department of Creative Arts, Dennis Osadebay University, Nigeria. We believe that if your research is scientifically valid and technically sound then it deserves to be published and made accessible to the research community. AHABA-JOCA aims to provide a service to the international scientific community, promote and disseminate the academic scientific production from research applied to Humanities and Social Sciences.
Peer Review Policy
AHABA-JOCA is dedicated to producing high-quality scientific publications with both local and global relevance. To achieve this, all submissions are subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Simultaneous submissions to multiple journals are strictly prohibited, and manuscripts falling outside the journal's scope will be rejected. Each paper is evaluated by at least two experts recommended by the editorial board, with editors retaining the option to seek additional reviews when necessary. The Editors-in-Chief make all publication decisions based on the referees' reports, and authors are promptly informed of acceptance or rejection. All manuscripts are treated as confidential, and reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality and disclose any conflicts of interest. Plagiarism
Plagiarism is defined as presenting someone else's work or ideas as your own. It's a serious academic and professional offense. To ensure originality and academic integrity, plagiarism detection software is used. Any paper flagged as having more than 15% plagiarized content will be rejected. This threshold is in place to maintain the authenticity and credibility of submitted work. Authors bear the responsibility for ensuring their work is free from plagiarism.

AHABA-JOCA charges N5000 (Five Thousand Naira only) as submission charges
Article Processing Charges
Authors of accepted article pay N30000 as processing fees
